Due to limited space, all wedding reservations are allocated on a first come, first serve basis and reception rooms are subject to availability. Only Carnival's 'Full Ship' Wedding Department can confirm the wedding date and location of your ceremony and reception. All wedding couples should book their Carnival cruise prior to booking their 'Fun Ship' Wedding Package. Then their 'Fun Ship' Wedding Coodinators, along with us, will assist you with the planning stages of your wedding such as the time, location of your ceremony, reception, guest list, floral upgrades, wedding cakes, live entertainment, tuxedos, photography service and video packages.
A local Carnival Representative will perform your ceremony and assist you in obtaining your marriage license through the mail (where applicable). You will be contacted by the Representative closer into the sailing to finalize all your ceremony details and explain the days events from the time you arrive to the completion of your ceremony.

THE CEREMONY AND WEDDING LUNCHEON PACKAGE
The Ceremony and Wedding Luncheon Package includes the same items as listed in the 'Just for the Bride and Groom Package' plus:

Package will accommodate up to 8 people, including the Bride & Groom. Additional people may attend for an additional charge of $34.50 per person and $17.50 for kids under 12 years of age. Package fees pertain to all attendees and does not include dance music in the dining room. In the event there are multiple Weddings the day of your wedding, exclusivity of the dining room cannot be guaranteed. Menu options will be explained to you at time of booking. Licensing Requirements: Carnival will assist in obtaining a license from the state or country in which the marriage is performed. Some International couples may be required to arrive one business day prior to sailing in order to obtain a marriage license. All licensing fees are priced separately from your 'Fun Ship' Wedding Package and are paid at the time you submit your pre-application. All licensing fees are non-refundable.
Florida Application by mail - $150.00 fee. Louisana, couples must appear and pay in person in order to obtain a marriage license - $27.50 fee. California (Los Angeles & Catalina)Confidential license - $125.00 fee. Galveston, couples must arrive 3 days prior to sailing and appear in person in order to obtain a marriage license - $36.00. New York, Couples must appear and pay in person in order to obtain a marriage license - $30.00. Vancouver, Couples must appear and pay in person in order to obtain a marriage license - $75.00 (CAD) US Virgin Islands (St. Thomas) Application by mail must also swear in at Territorial Court (includes transportation to the Court). - $150.00 fee Puerto Rico (San Juan) Couples must arrive one day prior, no later their 10am, in order to meet all marriage license requirements. Blood test may be obtained in home town and medical certificate to be approved by Physician in San Juan - $150.00 fee. Bahamas (Nassau) Application by mail must swear in before U.S. Consul at American Embassy in Nassau (includes transportation). - $125.00 fee. (Plus an additional fee to be paid the day of the ceremony) - U.S. citizens - $30.00 per person; Non-U.S. citizens - $75.00 per person. Barbados Application by mail (includes transportation) - $155.00 fee. Jamaica (Ocho Rios) Application by mail - $145.00 fee. Jamaica (Montego Bay) Application by mail - $200.00 fee. Grand Cayman - Application by mail, couple must meet with officiant onboard the morning of the wedding - $250.00 fee. St. Maarten - Application by mail - $250.00.
In order to obtain the appropriate marriage license through the mail, all wedding couples should book their wedding package no later than 35 days prior to sailing to allow ample time for processing. Couples will be responsible for obtaining their own marriage license if package is purchased within 34 days of sailing.
Pre-Cruise Travel Arrangements - It is recommended that the Bride and Groom arrive the day prior to sailing so they are not rushed or delayed by travel time and feel more relaxed on their wedding day. Coming in the day before is not a requirement for the wedding program, only a suggestion. Anyone using Carnival’s Fly Aweigh Program, may need to deviate their flights in order to ensure arrival in time for priority boarding. Early flights the day of sailing may not be available due to airline availability or scheduling.
Travel arrangements such as flight times, transportation to the pier from the airport and/or hotel are not arranged by Carnival's 'Fun Ship' Wedding Department. Come Cruise Vacations will make arrangements with Carnival’s Reservation or Group Reservation Department to coordinate your flight times, flight deviations and Carnival’s pre-cruise travel packages as soon as possible. The nonrefundable charge for the service is $35.00 per person (subject to change), plus any additional airline charge. This service is available for all guests under deposit until 45 days prior to sailing.
Priority Check-in: Priority Boarding is provided for couples being married the day of embarkation once the ship is cleared by U.S. Customs. All wedding ceremonies are timed, priced and coordinated for the time allotted for your specific package. Please be prompt. Couples being married later in the cruise will follow general boarding procedures.
Wedding Guests: The remainder of the Bridal Party and all wedding attendees will follow regular embarkation procedures. Non-sailing guests will need to disembark the ship one hour prior to sailing in Miami, Pt. Canaveral & Los Angeles. Guests are required to disembark immediately following the ceremony reception in the embarkation ports of Tampa, New Orleans, San Juan and all outports. Your final guest list along with payment is due to Carnival no later than 3 weeks prior to sailing. Guest cancellations within the week of sailing will be considered no-shows and are nonrefundable.
Ceremony: Civil ceremonies are performed in English by a Notary Public. (St. Thomas ceremones are Non-Denominational and performed by a Minister.) Weddings are not performed on deck, at sea or by the Ship's Captain.
Renewal of Vows: Proof of valid marriage is required prior to performing your vows renewal. Same wedding packages apply, except License fees.
Times & Locations: All on board ceremonies are performed in port before the ship sails. Carnival has chosen several locations on board at which to have your Wedding Ceremony/Reception. Locations are determined based on the number of guests attending, length of reception and entertainment requests. Carnival will make every effort to honor specific 'requests' for locations and times, however in the event there are multiple weddings on that day, request will be considered on a first come, first serve basis. Ceremonies are scheduled and confirmed within two weeks of sailing, all times are approximate and can be delayed due to unforeseen events.
Floral: All packages include one bridal bouquet with matching boutonniere for the Groom. Bouquets for attendants and other floral upgrades can only be ordered through a Carnival 'Fun Ship' Wedding Coordinator. If you would like to bring your own flowers, they must be silk due to U.S. Agricultural restrictions.
Photographs: Packages come with a Wedding Photo Album which includes only one (1) 8xlO wedding photo portrait. You may purchase additional photographs at no obligation as follows: 5x7 photographs at $5.00 each and 8x10 photographs at $15.00 each.
Additional Information: Due to time restraints, Beauty Salon appointments are not available the day of embarkation. It is suggested if coming in the day prior, to consult with your hotel’s salon. Additional Wedding Package enhancements are available and will be mailed to you at time of booking, including Video Packages and Tuxedo Rentals. Additional Food & Beverage Service and Live Entertainment options are also available for those couples who have purchased a reception package.
Cancellation Policy: Written confirmation must be received by Carnival by the date specified below if you wish to cancel your wedding. Weddings must be canceled separately from your cruise. All cancellation charges should be per person, i.e. $100 pp cancellation charge. Cancellation policy is as follows: 3, 4 & 5 Day Cruises: Full refund if cancelled 46 days prior to sailing, $50.00 per person cancellation charge 45-30 days, $100.00 per person cancellation charge 29-4 days, no refund if cancelled within 3 days of sailing date. 7 Day Cruises: Full refund if cancelled 71 days prior to sailing, $100.00 per person cancellation charge 70-3O days, $200.00 per person cancellation charge 29-4 days, no refund if cancelled within 3 days of sailing. Alaska Cruises: Full refund if cancelled 76 days prior to sailing, $300.00 per person cancellation charge 75-46 days, 50% of total wedding charges 45-16 days, 80% of total wedding charges 15-4 days, no refund if cancelled within 3 days of sailing date. 10 Day or Longer Cruises: Full refund if cancelled 61 days prior to sailing, $150.00 per person cancellation charge 60-30 days, 50% of total wedding charges 29-15 days, no refund if cancelled within 3 days of sailing date.
Change in Itinerary: 'Fun Ship' Wedding Department reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any weddings at any time and for any reason whatsoever without prior notice, and shall not be liable for any inconveniences caused to our guests by reason of such cancellation or rescheduling. It is understood and agreed that Carnival Cruise Lines Inc. Seachest Associates, "AgencyName", Cruise Planners, Moments to Remember, Fantasia Occasions, Best Source International and/or Island Dream Weddings, shall not be liable and denies responsibility in the event a scheduled wedding cannot take place or is delayed due to circumstances beyond our control. In the event of cancellation, Carnival Cruise Lines Inc., Seachest Associates, Cruise Planners, "AgencyName", Moments to Remember, Fantasia Occasions, Best Source International and/or Island Dream Weddings will not be held liable for any loss incurred on the part of wedding guest accommodations and their transportation prior to the ceremony.
